5. Security Measures Taken
Various security measures have been taken to process your data as securely as possible. Some of these measures are described below, and for security reasons, some are not published.
5.1 Website
Webdexter’s websites are equipped with full SSL encryption. All data you offer via the website is encrypted and sent to the server. You can find more information about this certificate by clicking on the lock icon before the domain name in the address bar.
Logging in to the website is only possible with (hardware-based) 2FA.
Webdexter’s websites are automatically updated to the latest versions of the operating system. The websites also have a monitoring system, and IP addresses that repeatedly log in incorrectly or show suspicious behavior are automatically blocked. Webdexter has the ability to block IP addresses on a geographical basis during, for example, cyber attacks.
Internet traffic on Webdexter’s websites is controlled by a software firewall. Data about the website and possible security incidents will be shared with our partners.
5.3 Email
Webdexter uses an SSL-secured email environment.
5.4 Web Server
The web server hosting Webdexter’s website is secured with a modern firewall. Constant monitoring takes place, and the web server is in a modern data center that has taken organizational and physical measures (VEB security class 4 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005) to secure its servers.
5.5 DNSSEC
DNSSEC stands for Domain Name System Security Extensions. The DNS protocol translates a domain name into an IP address. DNSSEC provides digital signatures for DNS records, allowing the requester to verify the authenticity of the returned record. DNS spoofing, or cache poisoning, is no longer possible with DNSSEC.
All domain names of Webdexter that support DNSSEC are equipped with it.
6. Cookies
6.1 Google Analytics
Cookies created by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service, are used on Webdexter’s websites. Webdexter uses this service to track visitor statistics and obtain reports on how visitors use the website. Google is not allowed by Webdexter to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.

This privacy policy reflects how Webdexter processes your data under the GDPR and applies only to the website(s).
